2nd Martin Peter Colloquium + MaNEP Topical meeting

For the 2nd time, the UniGE organizes a colloquium in the memory of Martin Peter (picture), founder of the Condensed Matter Physics Department. This year : conference by Nobel Prize winner Prof. Phil W. Anderson (Princeton University) "RVB after all : the theory of High Tc". More infos to come in September.

XI Training Course in the Physics of Correlated Electron Systems and High-Tc Superconductors
Vietri sul Mare/Salerno (Italy)
2 - 13 October, 2006

The training course, which is aimed at graduate and PostDoc researchers, will offer the possibility to meet, in one setting, various experts from different physics areas, all relevant to the investigation of strongly correlated electron systems.

Applications must be submitted before July 16.

13th Oxide Electronics Workshop

The WOE13 conference will take place on the Ischia Island, close to Naples, Italy.

The organizing committee is composed of R. Vaglio, F. Miletto, M. Salluzzo, and L. Maritato from Naples, and D. Marré from Genoa.
