Dr. Christof Niedermayer was appointed Research Professor at the Department of Physics at the University of Connecticut, USA.
In January, Dr. Elvezio Morenzoni was appointed Titular Professor at the University of Zürich.

A warm welcome to Elizabeth Guéniat who joined MaNEP in March, as MaNEP Executive assistant.
We also welcome Marie Obataya who arrived in April as MaNEP secretary.
At PSI, we have a new member, Dr. Claude Monney, who is working within the collaborative project on “Excitations of the orbital and spin degree of freedom in quasi-one-dimensional cuprates and multiferroic materials” by Urs Staub, Thorsten Schmitt, Frithjof Nolting, and Henrik M. Ronnow.

Dr. Vivien Lecomte left the group of Prof. Thierry Giamarchi, Unige, on April 1st. He works now at the CNRS in Paris. Congratulations and best wishes !
