In 2008, the March meeting of the SPS is proposing, along with the standard sessions, three parallel sessions for the NCCR's Nanoscale Science, Quantum Photonics, and MaNEP.

The MaNEP symposium inside the SPS meeting is organized by MaNEP. We encourage you to participate and to contribute to the MaNEP sessions.

Location

The SPS meeting will take place at "Uni MAIL" (14 Bd. du Pont d'Arve, Genève) from Wednesday March 26th to Thursday 27th.

Contributions

The MaNEP session will cover the following topics :

Strongly interacting electrons, low dimensional and quantum fluctuation dominated systems
Superconductivity, unconventional mechanism and novel materials
Multiferroics
Crystal growth
Novel materials
Thin films, artificial materials and novel devices
Applied superconductivity
Sensors and novel devices based on materials with novel electronic properties

The oral program will be decided on the basis of the received abstracts. Since the talks will be short, speakers are strongly encouraged to also present a poster.
