At the heart of the Nobel Prizes 2003
The 2003 Nobel Prizes in Physics and Medicine were awarded for research in superconductivity and medical imaging respectively. The most recent issue of the MaNEP newsletter presents the latest advances in the generation of very high magnetic fields using superconducting wires. Such high fields play a key role in medical imaging systems in particular by improving their spatial resolution.
These prestigious awards highlight the importance of the research fields in which MaNEP is already involved.
