Matthias Troyer receives the Aneesur Rahman Prize for Computational Physics

Matthias Troyer, ETHZ, has been awarded the 2016 Aneesur Rahman Prize for Computational Physics of the American Physical Society, ” for pioneering numerical work in many seemingly intractable areas of quantum many body physics and for providing efficient sophisticated computer codes to the community “.

The Aneesur Rahman Prize for Computational Physics is awarded by the American Physical Society to recognize and encourage outstanding achievement in computational physics research.
