The community of scientists involved in crystal growth and related topics in Switzerland is rather small but many-sided and active in a variety of research fields. A multitude of materials as well as a wide spectrum of growth and processing techniques are mastered in the various Swiss laboratories, constituting an unquestionable richness. The workshop is a good opportunity for scientists working in different laboratories in our country to maintain links and collaborations with each other and create new ones.
The aim of this meeting is to gather together scientists and students who are active or interested in crystal growth of novel materials for an informal workshop, through which we can keep up-to-date about recent results and exchange new ideas. The presentations are intended for giving tutorial information to PhD students and young scientists active in the field.
